So, who am I? Why did I start this series? And what am I going to write here?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Well&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Let_Us_Do_Introductions_First\"><\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Let Us Do Introductions First:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">I am a 29 years old Content Marketer. I have started working at FigPii around three weeks ago and have never worked in a SaaS before. However, being here now is a world full of challenges, opportunities, and learning to me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_Did_I_Start_This_Series\"><\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Why Did I Start This Series?<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Honestly, it was my boss&#8217;s idea,\u00a0<\/span><strong><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/khalidh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Khalid Saleh<\/a><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, CEO of <strong>FigPii<\/strong> and\u00a0<\/span><strong><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.invespcro.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Invesp<\/a><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. Also, it was one of the key results that my friend and co-worker\u00a0<\/span><strong><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/mostafa-daoud\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mostafa Daoud<\/a><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0and I came up with for this quarter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">However, self-journey blogs have always been my favorite kind of writings. That is why I was excited about the idea when we talked about my OKRs for this quarter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"i\"><\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Am_I_Going_to_Talk_About_Here\"><\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">What Am I Going to Talk About Here?<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Well, bits and pieces of everything, from how my week went to the new experiments that we are conducting to my endless nagging about finishing my OKRs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Also, I am going to talk about my co-workers, team, and boss.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Moreover, news about FigPii, events we are hosting, and, of course, every new thing I will learn here.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This is a heads-up that there will be a lot of talking, so please bear with me. However, I promise to try to keep it as fun as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"i-2\"><\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"So_About_My_First_Few_Weeks_at_FigPii\"><\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">So, About My First Few Weeks at FigPii:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Throughout the years, I have worked in many places. So, believe me when I say intuitions and actions over first impressions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The people of FigPii understand what is meant by joint efforts, teamwork, and offering a helping hand, and it is what it takes to have a productive environment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Much_Did_I_Learn_About_FigPii_So_Far\"><\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">How Much Did I Learn About FigPii So Far?<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If you do not know, FigPii is a SaaS tool offering services like\u00a0<\/span><strong><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.figpii.com\/heatmaps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heat maps<\/a><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">,\u00a0<\/span><strong><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.figpii.com\/blog\/session-recordings-guide\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">session recordings<\/a><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">,\u00a0<\/span><strong><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.figpii.com\/polling\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">polls<\/a><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, and\u00a0<\/span><strong><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.figpii.com\/ab-testing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A\/B testing<\/a><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">All of these can help you enhance your relationship with your consumers, understand them better, and increase your conversions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As for me, as a Content person, this is heaven; The thought of endless possibilities of topics to learn and write about is just pure heaven!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">However, that does not mean that it is not challenging, tricky, and somehow tough. Why?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Well, first of all, I have never written about any of these subjects before. Second, all of these require a lot of brainstorming, researching, and reading. Also, as my colleague,\u00a0<\/span><strong><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/simbar-dube\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Simba Dube<\/a><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0from our sister company Invesp told me:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">You have to think about what new you are going to offer to the user to read.<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If you think about it, many people have written about these topics. So, I need to think outside of the box. However, to calm my ragging thoughts, and based on what I conducted from my talks with Khalid and Mostafa, beginnings are always a matter of trial and error. So, fingers crossed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Anyhow, setting my troubles aside, seriously, how cool are heat maps and session recordings?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Can you imagine the absolute possibilities of being able to track your users? How much of an advantage do you get by understanding their behaviors? Also, to know where exactly do they take action the most on your website.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It is not only helpful for me as a Content Creator but for many others. For UX Designers, IT Engineers, Digital Marketers, etc&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Moreover, about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.figpii.com\/blog\/benefits-of-a-b-testing\/\">A\/B tests, they have endless benefits for your website<\/a>, not just higher conversion rates. They also improve user engagement, improve the content, reduce bounce rates, reduce cart abandonment, and increase sales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Now, tell me, which business does not need FigPii for its own sake?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">All of them!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Interesting_Tasks_I_Did_up_Until_Now\"><\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Interesting Tasks I Did up Until Now:<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">I started working at FigPii at the end of the third quarter of the year, so I participated in a small percentage of the work that was taking place.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">First of all, I started working on proofreading FigPii\u2019s website content. I liked the content, and, to be honest, it has not been that hard to edit. It was brief, engaging, and user-friendly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Second, I worked on my OKRs for the 4th quarter (sorry, these are top secrets, but I will be sharing them bit by bit as the quarter goes by!).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">While deciding on my OKRs, and meeting up with my teammates and boss for help, I can say that the challenge is beyond expectations this quarter. I am getting out of my comfort zone and going beyond my capabilities. Terrifying yet exciting!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Thirdly, Mostafa and I are currently doing an exciting task. We are conducting interviews for an open position within our marketing team at FigPii.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Khalid has a famous quote regarding hiring, saying:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">I hire people for attitude, not for skills.<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">I understand that sentence now very clearly. Let us say that I appreciate people who believe in their capabilities, know their strengths, and admit their weaknesses proudly. Still, they would be willing to learn, work hard, ask for help, and accept it.
