our home page to know &#8220;What brought my visitors to my website&#8221;, and one of the answers lit a light bulb in my head on what should I be doing next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>He sent &#8220;I&#8217;m looking for an alternative to HotJar because they changed the pricing model and it doesn&#8217;t make sense for a small website like mine.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>That led to an internal meeting, which led to a new experiment that we&#8217;re running now to see what performs the best!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>A simple survey answer gave us a new positioning opportunity to test, the question, which one should you use? It depends on what you\u2019re trying to achieve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re looking to gather quantitative data, then the NPS survey is more than enough to achieve your goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if you want to collect qualitative data then you can follow up with questions like:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>What are the primary reasons for the score you gave [product X]?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Would it be okay for us to follow up with you about your responses?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If they agree follow it up with \u201cwhat\u2019s the best email address to reach you?\u201d to quickly capitalize on the momentum and avoid them losing interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then drill deeper into why did they answer like that, do a quick meeting or get them on an interview that you can use later on to craft your product and messaging in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-regular-font-size wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Calculate_NPS\"><\/span>How to Calculate NPS?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As it stands there are three types of customers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Detractors: unhappy customers (Score: 0-6).<\/li><li>Passives: satisfied but unenthusiastic customers (Score: 7-8).<\/li><li>Promoters: loyal, enthusiastic customers (Score: 9-10).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To calculate the NP score, you need to subtract the percentage of detractors from the percentage of promoters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, when you launch your survey and find out that 30% of respondents are detractors, 10% are passives, and 60% are promoters, then your NPS score would be 60-30 = 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"CSAT_Customer_Satisfaction_Surveys_For_E-commerce_SaaS\"><\/span>CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) Surveys For E-commerce &amp; SaaS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>CSAT stands for customer satisfaction score.
