takes a ton of work, effort, and time to prepare one, I feel satisfied with the progress I have made working on this task.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In case you didn&#8217;t know, our case studies are based on successful AB tests launched by Invesp using FigPii.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>You can follow all the stories behind these case studies on the FigPii and Invesp LinkedIn accounts.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>We use both copy and design to showcase:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>The purpose behind launching the test.<\/li>\r\n<li>The problems with the original page (the control).<\/li>\r\n<li>The changes that were done on the variations tested.<\/li>\r\n<li>The numbers we came up with like CR (Conversion Rate), AOV (Average Order Value), RPV (Revenue Per Visitor).<\/li>\r\n<li>The winning variation.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-ht-block-toc  is-style-outline htoc htoc--position-wide toc-list-style-plain\" have learned from working on case studies:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-product-pages-are-meant-to-be-informative\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Product_Pages_Are_Meant_to_Be_Informative\"><\/span><strong>Product Pages Are Meant to Be Informative\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>You don&#8217;t just showcase your products.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>I never thought of that before; I thought we just needed to add catchy images and highlight our offers if we have any.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>But what I found out is that you have to inform to sell.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>When you provide customers with what they need to know, then you&#8217;re sold.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Here are a few tips I came up with so far:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Add a brief and straightforward product description.<\/li>\r\n<li>Use direct headlines.<\/li>\r\n<li>List out your products&#8217; benefits.<\/li>\r\n<li>Use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.figpii.com\/blog\/why-is-social-proof-important\">social proof<\/a> to prove to the user that you&#8217;re credible.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-make-your-ctas-stand-out\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Make_Your_CTAs_Stand_Out\"><\/span><strong>Make Your CTAs Stand Out<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Your CTAs (Call-To-Action) are what make visitors convert.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\r\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"339\" height=\"216\" class=\"wp-image-1219\" src=\"https:\/\/www.figpii.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Group-57-4.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.figpii.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Group-57-4.png 339w, https:\/\/www.figpii.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Group-57-4-300x191.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 339px) 100vw, 339px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>That&#8217;s why you need to:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Make the wordings clear. You have to let people know where they are about to go or what action they will take.<\/li>\r\n<li>Make them apparent; bigger if you want people to notice them.<\/li>\r\n<li>Add them above the fold. You don&#8217;t want people to keep scrolling down to buy if they in the first place.<\/li>\r\n<li>Use colors to highlight them to stand out.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-avoid-cluttered-pages\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Avoid_Cluttered_Pages\"><\/span><strong>Avoid Cluttered Pages<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>One thing Ayat keeps saying is &#8220;declutter.&#8221;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Cluttered web pages lead to a negative user experience and decrease user engagement.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This means visitors will abandon your website. Which, accordingly, means no buying and no conversions.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Remove anything on your website that does not serve a specific purpose.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>That can mean distracting images, way too much content, too many ads, etc.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Here are a few tricks I have learned on decluttering:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-1-clean-up-top-navigation\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1-_Clean_Up_Top_Navigation\"><\/span><strong>1- Clean Up Top Navigation<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Don&#8217;t overcrowd the navigation bar with tons of pages and elements.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This can overwhelm visitors as they have to go through many clicks to get where they want.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Here is what you can do:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Try to limit your top navigation to a maximum of 6 &#8211; 7 elements.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li>Move items with low priority (like social media icons, privacy policy links, etc.) to the site&#8217;s footer.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-2-use-tabs-to-organize-your-page\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2-_Use_Tabs_to_Organize_Your_Page\"><\/span><strong>2- Use Tabs to Organize Your Page<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Decluttering means organizing, and what is a better way to do so than using tabs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>If you want to have multiple pieces of information and elements on a page that will assist visitors in making a decision, keep those elements accessible in tabs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This can especially work with Q &amp; A (Questions &amp; Answers) and customer reviews sections.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Check the example below:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\r\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"494\" class=\"wp-image-1218\" src=\"https:\/\/www.figpii.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Group-57-3.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.figpii.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Group-57-3.png 200w, https:\/\/www.figpii.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Group-57-3-121x300.png 121w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-3-use-more-negative-space\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3-_Use_More_Negative_Space\"><\/span><strong>3- Use More Negative Space<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Have you ever looked at a landing page without a free inch, and you felt irritated?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The whole page space is cramped up.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>You barely see the background!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Well, that&#8217;s why this tip came in handy.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong><em>Use more negative space.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This means going for simplicity when it comes to design, which in return means a better user experience.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Why?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>It helps visitors relax, puts them at ease, and navigate freely.<\/li>\r\n<li>It will help them focus easily on the areas you want them to.<\/li>\r\n<li>Also, it will help increase the average amount of time they spend on the site.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-wrapping-things-up\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Wrapping_Things_Up\"><\/span>Wrapping Things Up<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This blog is not the end of my lessons learned from case studies.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>There will be some more coming up this quarter.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Stay tuned!<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Case studies have been an eye-opener for me into the worlds of conversion rate optimization and product marketing.
